Vice President Message

President Heritage Foundation

In recent years, it has become increasingly evident that heritage preservation and interpretation hold the power to positively influence the social evolution of nations, regions, and communities. While rigorous research and academic study will always remain essential pillars of heritage practice, the global narrative is shifting toward a more inclusive and interdisciplinary understanding of the past. This emerging approach recognizes that heritage is not only a record of history; it is a shared cultural asset that demands collaboration, empathy, and international cooperation.

Heritage, in its truest sense, represents everything meaningful that moves forward from the past into the future.

It is a legacy entrusted to us by our ancestors, one meant to be celebrated, protected, and passed on with dignity and responsibility. The Heritage Foundation was established with this belief: to bring together individuals across the world who share a commitment to conserving and honoring India’s heritage, whether through direct action, scholarship, or advocacy.

Through its various divisions, the Heritage Foundation plays a pivotal role in promoting and preserving heritage, art, and culture. Our efforts are focused on ensuring that cultural values, artistic expressions, and aesthetic sensibilities remain vibrant, relevant, and accessible to every generation. We also support platforms that encourage contemporary interpretations of heritage, allowing traditional knowledge to coexist with modern creativity.

One of the most meaningful aspects of our work is youth engagement. We believe that the future of heritage lies in the curiosity and passion of young minds. To nurture this connection, the Foundation conducts training programs, workshops, and performing arts and craft initiatives that allow students to explore heritage in experiential and meaningful ways. Our flagship initiative, the National Heritage Olympiad, has become a powerful national movement, encouraging thousands of young learners to engage with India’s history, traditions, architecture, and cultural identity.

Our core team consists of experts deeply rooted in heritage conservation, research, and cultural stewardship. Together, we lead diverse heritage projects across India with the collective goal of safeguarding the country’s unique cultural legacy.

As Vice President of the Heritage Foundation, I am honored to be part of a mission that not only protects the past but also shapes a culturally informed and responsible future. Our shared heritage is a gift, one that deserves understanding, respect, and commitment. It is our duty to ensure that it continues to inspire generations to come.
